Distance Learning

Classes are limited to ten and meet online once a month, using ilinc.com. We currently have a class running with students in Asia and the Americas. A class for students in Europe and the Americas runs from October through April. Prior to each meeting, participants will read text assignments and watch the associated lecture. (Lectures on DVD, recorded during the 2008-09 training, are provided to participants.) Follow-up assignments take from two to six hours monthly. All assignments turned in receive a personal response. There will be a final, open book, exam.

New classes begin at different dates whenever we get a minimum of eight participants. Call 503-671-9112 for more information or to get on the list for the next class.
Students who successfully complete the course receive a Certificate of Completion of Education for Life coursework. Additional internships and experience are required to become an Education for Life certified teacher.

The cost for the training, including DVDs, is $995.
The price does not include the required textbooks.
